Case Studies
Global LAN-LAN Managed Network
Provision of project management and technical consultancy to a large pharmaceutical company for an outsourced international LAN-LAN Network. This network interconnected 18 different countries using Cisco routers and Frame Relay.
Responsibilities included: negotiating the Service Level Agreement on behalf of the client, day to day project management, specification of roll-out and support procedures, verifying the design and configuration of routers, and managing the supplier on behalf of the client.

Project Management for the deployment of international Frame Relay networks for a number of major UK Investment banks.
National voice/data network
Provided consultancy assistance to a large transport operator for the development of a new group-wide data/voice network. Work included resolving differing divisional requirements, reviewing and auditing the preferred vendors design and finding ways to integrate existing UNIX, DEC VAX, Bull and Unisys systems with a new applications platform.
Secure Firewall
Project Management for the design and deployment of an international Secure Gateway (Firewall) initiative for a major UK Investment Bank. The role included responsibility for developing the initial security guidelines prior to defining the project and subsequently rolling 25
firewalls worldwide.
